Waste Management Specialist – Collection

Job description

Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.

Job Duties:

  • Implements various activities and projects to establish, maintain, and improve waste management compliance across all of GreenQuip’s operations, in line with organizational sustainability goals.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of five years in waste management, environmental compliance, or related areas.
    • License/Certification: Must possess a valid driver’s license.

    Preferred Work Traits

    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Ability to comprehend and apply environmental regulations.
    • Capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with waste management rules and regulations across the organization.
    • Audit and inspect facilities for waste management practices.
    • Review facility reports, compliance plans, and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Maintain communication with stakeholders to foster informed and collaborative decision-making.
    • Assist in educational and outreach activities to promote better waste management practices.
    • Stay updated on best industry practices and trends.
